Yields: 4 Portions

  • 453.59 g beef, cut in 2.5cm cubes
  • 453.59 g can pineapple chunks in juice
  • 118.29 ml soy sauce
  • 59.14 ml brown sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2.46 ml minced ginger
  • 2.46 ml sliced lemongrass
  • 59.14 ml sliced scallion
  • 9.85 ml sesame oil

Combine all the ingredients - including the liquid from the tinned pineapple - cover and refrigerate in the marinade for 1-3 hours.

Thread the beef and pineapple chunks alternately on metal skewers or soaked wooden skewers and discard leftover marinade.

Grill for about 5-8 minutes - turning once - until the beef is cooked.
